( CHIEF TOO ) The classic Control Line stunter from the 50's era. This early 'flapped' classic was first kitted with a 'laminar flow' type airfoil (ala the P-51) and enclosed cockpit. ( MOHAWK BUZZARD ) ---- Here's the Modified Mohawk Buzzard Jr. from 1946. Designed by J. H. Schneider, this class A design was originally powered by a Bantam .19 ign.-It had a span of 44.5 ", a triangular fuse. x-section, and a wing area of 288 sq." I have blown it up to 55", Squared the fuse. x-section (to accomodate the R/C gear), Changed the airfoil, changed the size and construction to handle the power of a modern glo engine, and adapted it to 3 chan. necessities. Rec. power: .19 to .25 glo. Model Spec's
Wingspan ------------- 55"
Power --------------- .19 to .25
Download DXF File

( PLAYBOY SR. "too" ) This is a 3 chan. R/C adaptation of Joe Elgin's famous design, the Playboy Sr. Those wishing to use .29 to .40 power might consider scaling the plan to 72" span. 80" span would handle the .45 to .60 power range best. Model Spec's
