مطلب جالبی رو عنوان کردی! من تا حالا نشنیده بودم و تصمیم گرفتم یه جستجوی ساده داشته باشم:
مواد هوشمند با کلید واژه های Smart Material یا Intelligent Material یا Designed Material شناخته می شوند و "به آن دسته از مواد گویند که می توانند محیط و شرایط اطراف خود را درک نمایند و به آن واکنش نشان دهند. هم اکنون فلزات و کامپوزیت‌های هوشمند در موارد بسیاری کاربرد و جایگاه خود را در صنعت پیدا کرده اند. برای مثال امروزه از فلزی به نام نیتینول (ترکیبی از نیکل و تیتانیوم) در ساخت فریم عینک‌ها استفاده می‌شود که بعد از خم شدن مجدد به شکل اولیه بر می گردد ..."

و اما جواب سوال شما؛ برای کسب اطلاع از مواد هوشمند یک کتاب پیدا کردم که مشخصات و دو لینک دانلودش رو قرار دادم در ادامه (و البته برای راحتی، ضمیمه هم کردم کتاب رو). با جستجوی کوچیکی که داخلش انجام دادم احتمالاً به صورت کامل و همراه با شکل های دقیق، جواب سوال شما رو داده. در واقع تنها کتابی بود که قابلیت دانلود داشت و احتمالاً اولین و تنها کتاب در زمینه این مواد به حساب میاد:
